Chapter 1

The Silent Frustration

Nancy Clark

Welcome everyone to today's episode. I want to start today by just saying, if you’re listening to this, and you’re in a season where you feel like you’re doing everything right, but nothing’s moving, you are not alone. I mean, let’s be real, sometimes it feels like you’re checking every box, praying, working hard, loving your people, keeping your business or your job afloat, and still, it’s like... nothing’s shifting. You’re not slacking off, you’re not ignoring God, you’re doing your part. But deep down, there’s that quiet question, right? “God, I’m doing all the things. Where are you? Where’s my breakthrough?”

Nancy Clark

I remember this one season, oh, it was rough. I was working back-to-back nursing shifts, trying to keep my family together, and then, you know, late at night, I’d just sit there, praying, sometimes just staring at the ceiling, wondering if any of it was making a difference. I’d be so tired, but I’d still show up, still pray, still hope. And honestly, it felt like I was invisible. Like, “God, do you see me? Am I missing something?” I know so many of you have been there too. It’s that silent frustration, the kind you don’t always talk about, but it’s real.

Nancy Clark

And I think, sometimes, we just need to say it out loud. It’s okay to admit that you’re frustrated, that you’re tired of waiting, that you’re wondering if your prayers are just bouncing off the ceiling. Because, honestly, that’s part of faith too, being honest about where you are, even when it’s messy.

Chapter 2

When Obedience Feels Overlooked

Nancy Clark

So, let’s talk about that next layer, when you’re doing everything you know to do, you’re being obedient, you’re showing up, and still, it feels like you’re being overlooked. That’s a tough pill to swallow. I mean, you keep serving, you keep believing, you keep putting in the effort, and yet, the doors just aren’t opening. It’s like, “God, did you forget about me?”

Nancy Clark

But here’s the thing I’ve learned, and honestly, I have to remind myself of this all the time, just because you don’t see movement doesn’t mean there isn’t any. God often works in silence. And what feels like a delay? Sometimes, it’s actually preparation. I know, I know, that’s not always comforting in the moment, but it’s true. He’s shaping something in you, endurance, patience, trust, all those things that can’t be rushed.

Nancy Clark

I think about stories in scripture, like Joseph, right? Years in prison, years of being faithful in obscurity, and then, suddenly, everything changed. Or even in my own life, I’ve watched friends serve faithfully for years, no spotlight, no big breakthrough, and then, out of nowhere, God opens a door that only He could open. It’s wild how often the “overnight” breakthrough is actually years in the making.

Nancy Clark

And, you know, I might be wrong, but I think sometimes we get so focused on the outcome, we miss what God’s doing in us right now. The waiting isn’t wasted. The silence isn’t empty. It’s all part of the process, even if it doesn’t look like progress.

Chapter 3

There Is Still Purpose in This Part

Nancy Clark

So, if you’re listening and you feel like you’ve missed your moment, or you’re behind, or maybe you’re just forgotten, let me just say, that’s a lie. You haven’t missed it. You’re not behind. God sees every bit of what you’re carrying, and He is not wasting any of it. The tears, the effort, the showing up when you didn’t feel like it, all of that is part of your process.

Nancy Clark

I remember this one moment, not that long ago, when I realized that all those setbacks, all those nights I thought were wasted, were actually the foundation for launching my business. The lessons I learned in the hard seasons? They became the very things I needed to step into the next thing God had for me.

Nancy Clark

So, I just want to encourage you, this season is not punishment. It’s preparation. Your breakthrough will come, and when it does, it’s gonna meet a version of you that’s stronger, wiser, and ready. So keep going. There is still purpose in this part, even if you can’t see it yet. And hey, we’re gonna keep talking about this, so stick around for the next episode, Stay prayerful and Blessed ***
